The Wattlewood Farewell

An interment service designed for people seeking a simple, direct and meaningful ceremony

When a death occurs

When a death occurs, the Wattlewood team provides a combined funeral and natural burial service. Our experienced arrangers explain your options and work with you and your family to create a meaningful, personal farewell for your loved one.

Once our team is notified of the death, our arrangers coordinate the transfer of the deceased from their place of death to our mortuary accommodation. We are available 24 hours a day to take your call.

One of our funeral arrangers meets with you and/or your family (in person or on-line) for an unhurried consultation to guide you through the planning process. Together, we complete the official death registration paperwork, choose a biodegradable casket or shroud, and discuss your wishes for the ceremony.

Our operations team look after all logistics at Wattlewood. This includes preparing the burial site, coordinating the event, and ensuring all arrangements are carried out according to plan.
